Advice and Assistance
Before beginning their studies at the University of Siegen, there are many important issues students have to deal with. Some issues will appear during the preparatory phase, some after arrival.
There are many places at the University of Siegen where you will find advice and assistance, the most important place is the International Office (AAA) where every international student receives information and support in matters of application, admission and matriculation. Additionally, the AAA offers advice regarding general matters such as cultural events and accommodation among others.

The location of the Akademisches Auslandsamt is in the "Oberstadt" (very close to the center of Siegen), not far from the central train station. The building can be found easily as it is directly across from the department store "Karstadt" and next to the Lower Castle of Siegen (the entrance is on "Grabenstraße"!)
