There is a vacant position for a research associate ("wissenschaftliche/-r Mitarbeiter/-in") in the Geomathematics Group. Please follow this link for further details in English or this link for further details in German .
In winter term 2012/2013, the Geomathematics Group will be responsible for the following (German) lectures: "Mathematik I für Elektrotechniker" and "Geomathematik".
In late 2012, the textbook "Lectures on Constructive Approximation" by V. Michel is expected to be published by Birkhauser, Boston.
2013 will be the international year "Mathematics for Planet Earth 2013" . A series of activities related to the cooperation of mathematicians and geoscientists will take place next year. The Geomathematics Group Siegen in involved in several large and small scientific conferences in 2013.
