“Integral Service for Project Funding and Management in the European Framework Programme”

Funded by the Ministry for Innovation, Science and Research of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the INSPIRE project aims to significantly increase the competitiveness of the University of Siegen for efficient participation in “HORIZON 2020”, the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. This shall be manifested in an increased number of filed applications on the one hand and in the improvement of the success rate on the other hand. It shall be realised by the set-up of efficient and sustainable project management structures where the scientists are supported and their workload is reduced as necessary.

The concept is based on a modular service offer tailored to the following target groups: First applicants / junior scientists, experienced applicants as partners in joint projects and experienced applicants as coordinators. The individual modules may be booked by scientists free of charge.

Project coordinators can book additional services within the context of Module V “Project Administration” (subject to a charge, billable via project budget).
