Work placement abroad
ERASMUS grants for self-organized work placements abroad within Europe
The LLP-ERASMUS programme provides grants to subsidize work placements within other European countries (350 Euros per month). To be eligible, your placement must last between 91 days and 12 months, be related to your course of study, include approved content and take place in countries participating in the ERASMUS programme. Work placement grants are also available to students who have already been granted an ERASMUS study scholarship or who receive BAföG grants during their work placement abroad. You can only apply for an ERASMUS grant for a work placement once during your studies. As part of the Westfalen-Lippe educational partnership, University of Siegen cooperates with University of Applied Sciences of Bielefeld. The latter is in charge of the administrative handling of applications.
