The Appointment Training provides systematic and targeted preparation for applications for professorships at universities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In this two-day workshop, participants receive specific information on the legal basis, the procedure and the individual elements of the appointment procedure, as well as tips on how to best prepare an application and how to structure written application documents. In addition, key elements of the procedure, such as the interview with the Appointments Committee, will be tested in training situations. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive individual feedback on their application documents within 12 months of the training.
