EMIL
Welcome to the website of EMIL!
EMIL is an informal and voluntary union of the academic staff of the University of Siegen. We aim at exchanging and sharing positive or negative experiences that each of us obtains or may face during his/her academic career. While we are working informal, we meet regularly per month where EMIL members exchange and discuss didactic and education related themes.
We have recently anticipated the increasing number of international staff and therefore have initiated a mini-project entitled as "EMIL goes International (EMILI)". This project aims at disseminating EMIL to international staff.
You are more than welcome to join our "Newcomers Meeting" where we are providing helpful information at the early stage of your employment.
We will provide more English content in the near future. Meanwhile please do not hesitate to contact us via email or attend our next meeting.

Newcomers Meeting
Hochschuldidaktik organizes a newcomers meeting for all teaching and/or research assistants in cooperation with EMIL and university administration two times a year.
Next meeting: October 15th, 2021, at 1.00 pm, s.t.
