Adding a GNOME-2-style TaskPanel to GNOME 3

The following command adds the minimise button and the maximise button to windows:

> gconftool-2 --set /desktop/gnome/shell/windows/button_layout --type string ":minimize,maximize,close"

You need the Gnome Shell to restart to take the changes effect.



The command "gnome-panel --replace" starts the task panel like in GNOME 2.

Whit the command "gnome-session-properties" you can add the command "gnome-panel --replace" as a starter.
