Prof. Dr. Heiko Ihmels
For a research discovery to have a sustaining impact on science and foster progress, it must be accessible in the literature in the form of a publication. It is, therefore, a key trait of a well-educated scientist to be able to present effectively scientific results to the scientific community. Some conceptual guidelines are recommended herein for effective planning, competent organizing, and lucid writing of a scientific manuscript. Moreover, special attention is given to formal issues that are specific for publications in STEM subjects.
