Join us for a game of crazy golf (or Minigolf as we call it here)!

We will meet on 22 May at 6 p.m. at the Minigolf Arena Siegen , which is located near the Siegen central station (An der Alche 41, 57072 Siegen). After playing, there is the possibility to enjoy a cold drink at a café right next to the arena.

Join us for an evening of Bingo this month, to be more precise on19 June! This classic game is always special and has been enjoyed for decades and by generations. We will bring our original bingo machine and a prize for the winner.

We will meet on 19 June at 6:30 p.m. at the restaurant “Zur Hammerhütte” (Kirchweg 79, 57072 Siegen) to start playing. Afterwards we will have dinner there.

We will meet on 6 February at 7 p.m. at the Irish pub Camelot (Marburger Tor 11, 57072 Siegen) to have some drinks, play some board games and chat. Please note that you will have to pay for drinks and snacks yourselves. Therefore, we kindly ask you to bring some cash in case it won’t be possible to pay by card. In return, we will take care of bringing different board games.

Please note that in Germany, children are allowed in pubs, too.

In March we would like to invite you to go to the cinema together on 7 March. On the first Thursday of each month, Siegen's cinema “Cinestar” offers an English language sneak preview! At a sneak preview, a movie that is shown before its release in Germany, and the exact title isn’t announced beforehand.

We will meet on 7 March at 7:45 p.m. in front of the ticket desk at “Cinestar” (Sandstrasse 31, 57072 Siegen). In case you are not familiar with the building: the ticket desk is on the 3rd floor, to which you can get by using the escalators. We will then get the tickets there all together. The ticket costs will be covered by the Welcome Center so places are limited and we kindly ask you to only register if you are sure, you will be able to make it. There is also the possibility for you to buy snacks and drinks at the entrance once we have our tickets. The movie will then start at 8:15 p.m.

Join us for one or both events on our Welcome Day!

We will start with a guided library tour at the main library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) at 11:55 p.m. The tour will take about one hour and includes general information about the library, a brief introduction into use and borrowing of books and a tour. Starting point is the entry of the library at the AR campus.
Please note that bags and jackets are not allowed to be taken into the library. They can either be left in a dedicated room for the duration of the tour or locked in of the lockers in the foyer (a locker card is required for this).

After work, we offer a special tour at the Nikolaikirche in the city center with an ascent to the Krönchen. For this second event we will meet at tbc in front of the Nikolaikirche (Pfarrstr. 2, 57072 Siegen).
