We develop the Open Source simulator µbialSim for mechanistically modeling metabolic exchange processes within complex microbiomes.
Before joining the University of Siegen, the BMBF-funded project McBiogas , focussing on the mathematical modeling of biogas microbiomes was successfully concluded, as well as landfill microbiomes were studied within the ERA CoBioTech project SYNBIOGAS .
