Siegen connects and supports you

The project for international students
entering the regional job market.

You are an international student/doctoral student at the University of Siegen
and would like to gain work experience in Germany while studying or after graduation?
SieguVer helps you to find a job in the region!

Your work opportunities in the region

Like many other international young people, you came to Siegen to become an expert in your field at the university. After graduation, as a qualified specialist, the job market is open to you. At the same time, the industry in the region, with its large number of small and medium-sized enterprises, offers an ideal job market for graduates of the university, a fact which is compounded by the growing shortage of skilled workers. And also during your studies you can gain work experience with a student job or internship. There are particularly good opportunities in technical areas, but, of course, graduates with other degrees are also sought after. Find the way to connect with each other!

What exactly is SieguVer?

SieguVer is an acronym for "Siegen unterstützt und vernetzt" (Siegen supports and connects). The project supported by the DAAD will help you on your way to a successful career. Basic prerequisites for a successful career entry are a good social environment, first contacts with companies, language skills, and cultural know-how about the region.

That is why SieguVer offers international students and doctoral students a variety of measures:

Participation is free of charge with all offers.

Please note: The English page is still under construction.

The SieguVer project is headed by the International Student Affairs department of the University of Siegen.
It is funded by the DAAD from funds of the German Federal Foreign Office.
