Bewerbungsphase für das FraMeS Mentoring-Programm hat begonnen

Bereits zum 12. Mal haben (Nachwuchs-)Wissenschaftlerinnen der Universität Siegen die Möglichkeit, sich für eine Teilnahme am FraMeS Mentoring-Programm im Frühjahr 2022 zu bewerben. Das Programm richtet sich an Doktorandinnen, Postdoktorandinnen und Juniorprofessorinnen aller Fachrichtungen der Universität Siegen und bietet Unterstützung bei der individuellen Karriereplanung und –entwicklung. Neben neuen Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten sowie dem Ausbau persönlicher Schlüsselkompetenzen erhalten die FraMeS Mentees Unterstützung durch Mentor*innen, die sie in einem 12 Monate Tandem-Programm begleiten. Doktorandinnen und Postdoktorandinnen werden in Form zweier unterschiedlicher Programmlinien zielgerichtet und spezifisch gefördert.
Der kommende 12. FraMeS Jahrgang wird in der Arbeitssprache Englisch durchgeführt werden. Bewerbungen können ab sofort eingereicht werden, die Bewerbungsfrist endet am 08. November 2021.
Für alle Interessentinnen findet am Dienstag, den 26. Oktober 2021 von 12 – 14 Uhr s.t. online über Zoom eine Informationsveranstaltung statt, in der das Programm vorgestellt und alle offenen Fragen zum Ablauf und Inhalt geklärt werden. Darüber hinaus wird eine ehemalige Mentee über ihre Erfahrungen im Programm berichten.

For the 12th time, (junior) female scientists at the University of Siegen have the opportunity to apply for participation in the FraMeS Mentoring Programme in spring 2022. The programme is aimed at female doctoral candidates, postdocs and junior professors from all disciplines at the University of Siegen and offers support for individual career planning and development. In addition to new networking opportunities and the development of personal key competencies, the FraMeS mentees receive support from mentors who accompany them in a 12-month tandem programme. Doctoral and post-doctoral students receive targeted and specific support in the form of two different programme lines.
The upcoming 12th FraMeS year will be conducted in English. Applications can be submitted as of now, the application deadline is November 8, 2021.
An information event will be held online via Zoom on Tuesday, October, 26 2021 from 12 - 2 p.m. s.t. for all interested women, in which the programme will be presented and all open questions about the process and content will be clarified. In addition, a former mentee will report on her experiences in the programme.
