Doctoral Scholarship of the Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der Universität Siegen e.V.
The Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der Universität Siegen e.V. regularly awards a two-year doctoral scholarship. Funding is provided in particular for top achievements and other projects that deepen the regional anchoring of the university and/or strengthen the university's good international reputation and are carried out in one of the university's main research areas. The call for applications is usually announced in autumn. Further information can be found in the guidelines (in German). In case of questions, please contact the Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der Universität Siegen directly.
ZESS Scholarships ("Smart Sensing")
ZESS, an interdisciplinary research center of the Faculty of Science and Technology on the topic of "Multimodal Sensing / Imaging Systems", awards scholarships to excellent doctoral candidates in the field of "Smart Sensing". The scholarship is initially awarded for one year. If a promising report is submitted, the duration will be extended by one additional year at a time.
