Regulations
Here you find the regulations for the certificate programme. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time by e-mail to zertifikat-hyt@uni-siegen.de.
-
After a successful application, the entry into the certificate programme takes place through a mandatory initial interview in which the individual career goals of the participant are clarified, a short assessment of the current situation is carried out and one of the three possible certificate specialisations is selected. The certificate programme is concluded with a compulsory final reflection. This serves to clarify questions, reflect on one's own competence portfolio and outline the next career steps.
-
A total of at least 80 work units (AE) must be completed in the modules (1 AE corresponds to 45 minutes). The AE are usually acquired in the courses and events of the regular HYT semester programme. In addition to these events, individual counselling formats and, to a limited extent, e-learning formats can also be credited. It is not required to complete the programme within a certain period of time. The distribution of the AE per module depends on the chosen certificate specialisation.

Participants are accredited the corresponding AEs for an event if they have attended at least 80% of the event. If the relevant requirements are met, the overall certificate is issued. The certificate lists all completed courses and events sorted by module.
