Erasmus+ International

Erasmus+ grant conditions

Duration

Erasmus+ studies last between 90 days and twelve months. In total, students can be funded for up to 36 months for Erasmus+ studies and/or traineeships:

- up to twelve months in each of the Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral programmes,
- the funding can be split and used more than once within a study cycle (e.g. twice for six months).

Erasmus+ allows a combination of traineeships and studies:

- Students can study at a higher education institution and do a traineeship in a company or other institution within the same study cycle.

Calculation and disbursement

The grant is calculated on base rates per day:

- Before the start of the studies, the host university confirms the planned number of days of stay in the Letter of Acceptance, which is used to calculate the provisional grant.
- After the end of the studies, the host university confirms the final number of days of stay in the Confirmation of Stay, which is used to calculate the final grant.

The grant is disbursed in two instalments:

- The 1st instalment (70%) is disbursed before the start of the studies.
- The 2nd instalment (30%) is disbursed after the end of the studies.
