Financial support for students
(20.11.2020) The BMBF continues to support students throughout the winter semester with BAföG, other grants, and interest-free student loans. Students can apply for these starting on November 20, 2020.

Application phase for MSC COFUND: "STAR" starts
(16.11.2020) The "STAR: Sensing and Sensibility – Transcending Disciplines for a Responsible Future" project is advertising ten temporary postdoc positions for experienced researchers from around the world. Scientists from almost all disciplines can apply up to January 8, 2021.

From academic advisor to coronavirus helper
(01.10.2020) Faria Afzal helped international students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her support ranged from help in dealing with authorities to providing homemade masks to simply lending a sympathetic ear. Pakistan, the home country of the academic advisor at the University of Siegen, has now recognized her efforts with an award.

How do people with disabilities live in West Africa?
(29.09.2020) In cooperation with the University of Ghana, the University of Siegen is conducting research into the life courses of people with disabilities in West African societies.
