Colloquium: Money, Power, Print - “Reassessing the Financial Revolution”
7 – 9 June 2018, Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen, Germany
Money, Power and Print, a network of scholars researching the Financial Revolution, will be holding a small colloquium-style conference in Siegen from 7-9 June 2018 at the Museum für Gegenwartskunst. The event is titled “Reassessing the Financial Revolution,” and it will feature contributions from history, literary studies, rhetoric and economics. We still have space for discussants who are interested in — or are currently researching — the Financial Revolution (i.e., the infrastructural changes that took place in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, which entailed developments in public credit, party politics, joint-stock corporations, stock markets, and paper money).
