Whether for a semester abroad, a summer school or an internship, our website provides you with information and advice on the exchange programs of Faculty II and beyond.

The first step on your path to study abroad is to answer the following questions: What do I want to do abroad? (Study abroad, summer school, internship, or similar). Where do I want to go? Which place and university offers me the best opportunities? How do I finance my stay abroad? Which seminars are offered at the university abroad and to what extent are they transferable to my study plan? For this purpose you have to prepare a "Learning Agreement". Without the Learning Agreement, achievements abroad cannot be accepted for credit points!

In principle, it is a good idea to go abroad via Erasmus, as this is associated with numerous advantages (no tuition fees, financial support). The University of Siegen has Erasmus partnerships in many European countries - please consult the International Office directly, as the list is constantly expanding and changing. Of course, you also have the option of contacting a university abroad yourself. However, keep in mind that these may involve very high tuition fees in some cases.

After you have gathered initial information and considered your stay abroad, you can receive personal advice from various points of contact at the level of the faculty as well as the university.
