You explain your situation, questions and concerns while your interlocutor is listening carefully and enquiring. Rearrange your thoughts and develop new ideas and perspectives. Learn techniques to work out your professional aims and get to know your potential and skills. You won't get directions or recommendations, but the advisor helps you to make decisions and get results on your own.
