Symposien
Das Institut führt seit 1977 einmal pro Jahr ein Symposium nationalen oder internationalen Zuschnitts an der Universität Siegen durch. Die Ergebnisse der Treffen werden regelmäßig in Buchform publiziert.
Bislang fanden im Rahmen dieses Programmes 32 Fachtagungen statt, die beachtliche (fach)öffentliche Resonanz fanden. Die Themen der Veranstaltungen geben einen guten Einblick in die Vielfalt der Arbeitsrichtungen und Disziplinen, die seitens des Instituts gepflegt wurden und werden:
