Notice: Navigating the European Competence Framework for Researchers

(20 February 2025) ResearchComp is a tool designed to help researchers assess and develop their transversal skills, assist higher education institutions and training providers in adapting their offerings to researchers, and enable employers to recognize the wide set of competences of researchers.
It establishes a common language and understanding of researchers’ transversal competences and can be used by various stakeholders such as researchers, universities, research organizations, training providers, employers, and policymakers.
It is the first competence framework for researchers at the EU level, developed based on the most recent analysis of the transversal skills that researchers need for successful and interoperable careers in all sectors of society, including academia, industry, business, public administration, NGOs, and others.
