Call for applications: Awards for Junior Academics

As every year, the University of Siegen awards prizes to junior academics for outstanding accomplishments, including some awards in cooperation with regional institutions. Graduates who wrote an outstanding bachelor's, master's or doctoral theses in the past academic year can apply or be nominated.

(7 March 2023) As every year, the University of Siegen awards prizes to junior academics for outstanding accomplishments, including some awards in cooperation with regional institutions. Students who wrote an outstanding bachelor's, master's or doctoral theses in the past academic year can apply or be nominated.

Applications are now possible for the award of the district of Altenkirchen, of the district of Olpe, as well as the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein, the award of the Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK) Siegen, the awards of the Dirlmeier Foundation, and the award of the University of Siegen for international junior researchers.

The deadline for applications is 9 April 2023. Applications have to be submitted in electronic form only to the chairperson of the Standing Commission for Research and Junior Academics, via Dr. Jan Söhlke. Printed submissions will be destroyed at the end of the process. You can find more information about the awards here.
