The European Cuckoo at the Annual Reception of the House of Young Talents
(22.10.2019) In addition to numerous scholarship recipients and mentors, the European cuckoo was also a guest at the annual reception of the House of Young Talents, as it was used an example of a master in lying in the interdisciplinary dialogue on the subject of "Lies - in negotiations and in the animal kingdom" between the biologist Prof. Dr. Klaudia Witte and the jurist Prof. Dr. Peter Krebs.

13 Tenure-Track Professorships to Support Young Scientists at the University of Siegen
(18.09.2019) The University of Siegen has successfully applied for the tenure track programme with its proposal prepared by the House of Young Talents under the responsibility of the Prorector for Research and Future Academics; all 13 tenure track professorships applied for by Siegen have been approved. The funding for the University of Siegen amounts to almost 12.3 million euros.

Darya Mozhayeva Receives Young Scientist Award
(09.07.2019) PhD student Darya Mozhayeva from the Department of Chemistry and Biology at the University of Siegen has been awarded the DAAS Prize of the German Chemical Society (GDCh).
