Commanding English at levels B2 / C1 of the CEFR – what this means in concrete terms
Students who want to complete BA-studies in English at the Universität of Siegen need to command English at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) when they take up their studies. Those who want to complete an MA even need to command English at CEFR-level C1. A new document compiled by members of the English Department illustrates what these requirements mean in concrete terms to help students, course instructors and advisors to find out what exactly is required at which stage.
