An internship at Star Alliance Services GmbH, the organization that heads up the world’s largest airline alliance will help you make the leap into the international Business World. Commercial: Loyalty, Marketing and Sales

Internship Facts:
· Star date: JULY 2007
· Duration: 6-12 months
· Location: Frankfurt Airport Center, Frankfurt/Main, Germany

Internship Tasks include:
· Support in daily activities of Commercial Business Unit
· Develop key reports & analysis for brand and commercial benchmarking
· Strategic analysis of key competitive and core Home Markets
· Responsible for own small projects agreed with Director(s)/VP
· Assist in annual Business & Budget planning
· Assist in developing strategic market initiatives i.e. promotions and sales activities
· Record and analyze post campaign / promotions results for consumer promotions
· Develop statistical reports and post marketing campaigns
· Carry out regular Member Carrier and competitor FFP programme reviews and reporting
· Support brand management and marketing materials/collateral updates
· Review advertising material creative and copy
· Responsibility for merchandising system updates and ordering
· Support consumer and brand book websites content maintenance and updates

Internship Requirements:

· University degree with a specialization on Marketing and/or Loyalty
· Native English / Fluent in written and spoken English
· Foreign language knowledge (e.g. German) an advantage
· Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access)
· Website / E-Services knowledge or experience an advantage
· Practical Marketing and/or loyalty experience also an advantage
· Knowledge and /or experience of Market Research
· Good verbal and written communication and language skills
· Cultural awareness
· Team spirit
· Self-starter

Corporate Communication

The Star Alliance Corporate Office comprises Media Relations, Internal Communication, Airline Membership Liaison and Project Management Office. These core functions support Star Alliance communication flow and activities both internally and externally. The Project management Office provides a centralized pool of expert project managers, who have delivery experience in many areas of the airline industry. Combining the functions of Communications and Project Management provides for close and direct cooperation between project teams and executive decision makers.



Internship Facts:
· Begin: July / August 2007
· Duration: 6-12 months
· Location: Frankfurt Airport Center

Internship Tasks:
· Support Directors/VP in preparing meetings, press briefings, conferences, news releases, news letters, etc.
· Prepare presentations for Star Alliance management and the management of the member airlines
· Ordering and logistical supply of Star Alliance give-aways
· Support upcoming projects / leading own projects
· Update and distribute general fact sheets on Star Alliance
· Maintain journalist database
· Update media page on www.staralliance.com
· Update Star Alliance Intranet

Internship Requirements:

· Student / Graduate of Tourism / Aviation Management or related fields
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
· Fluency in German and English
· Good communication skills and team spirit
· Cultural awareness
· Self-initiative

Internship: Creative Marketing Australia (f/m)

We are looking for a creative person with good understanding of Australians trends and youth culture. The successful candidate will be trained to produce television spots and support in generating sales via targeted creative campaigns. You will successfully run Australian TV spots from Berlin and will support us for all the creative aspect as well as daily results like media analyses.
