BLOOMBERG TV, London: German Channel internship

As a Bloomberg News summer intern, you'll get hands-on experience working on our German language channel. The Bloomberg TV service is the only worldwide 24-hour business and financial television network, broadcasting in seven languages via eleven channels with more than 2,300 professionals in 135 bureaus globally. With access to over 31 million households in Germany, Switzerland and Austria we offer the only business and finance focused channel in the German market.

You’ll contribute to our coverage of financial markets, companies, the economy and governments. This is an opportunity to work in a challenging, exciting and competitive, broadcast news environment. You’ll be writing scripts, editing video, researching stories and generally assisting producers and reporters. You’ll actually get a chance to see your work on air!

To be part of the team, you’ll need to show a passion for TV news and an interest in providing objective high quality business news. Previous work experience in a newsroom is required, ideally within a broadcast environment. Audio and/or video editing skills would be a plus. As our German channel is broadcast in its native language, you must have excellent written and spoken German language skills and also be fluent in English.

This is a paid 10 week internship.
Time: June-August
