Research

My main research interest focuses on Theoretical Philosophy in its entirety. I especially address the Philosophy of Language, Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Logic and Philosophy of Science.

I am the editor of the series of books "Current Issues in Theoretical Philosophy", Berlin & New York: Walter de Gruyter, which is a collaboration of international leading authors. The first volume "What is Truth?" was released in 2002, the second "The Externalist Challenge" in 2004. Currently I am working on the editing of the third volume with the title "Prospects for Meaning", which will be released in 2009.

I am the co-editor of the series of books "Philosophische Analyse/Philosophical Analysis", Ontos-Verlag, Frankfurt, München, New York.

I am working on a book about truth, which is meant as introduction into the subject.

I am a member of the Editorial Board of the magazine "Metaphysica".
I am a member of the Editorial Board of the magazine "Ontologica".
