World Intellectual Property Day 2022
ATHENA celebrates the World Intellectual Property Day 2022 on 21 April with the online event "IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future". The event will be held in English with exciting live lectures and presentations. The purpose of the event is to promote ATHENA European University and highlight the importance of IP among our target audiences.
The event takes place on 21 April 2022 from 13 to 15.30 pm CEST. Target audience are senior master students, PhD students, Postdoc students, and alumni but also SMEs, industry partners, researchers, start-up communities, and the general public. A follow-up email with the recorded videos from the live event, additional information with contacts to Liaison and Technology Transfer Offices (TTO), brochures, lectures etc. will be sent on 26 April.

IP Consultations
The event will feature free IP consultations in the form of (pre-) bookable sessions with IP experts for participants interested in learning about the best ways on how to identify and protect their IP. These consultations are a quick and free advice with emphasis to facilitate promotion of ATHENA's members expertise. Consultation is "localized" and primarily (but not limited) offered by the members' Liaison/TTO Offices and their innovation ecosystem partners (External TT Consultants, National Patent Office representatives, Patent Attorneys, EU IP Helpdesk Ambassadors etc.) to their pool of participants (e.g., University of Siegen to University of Siegen/German students). There will be 9 sessions of 10 minutes per expert.
