Going abroad – Coming to Siegen.

The Research Alumni Programme also invites you to participate in its event at the Virtual International Day of the University of Siegen.

The University of Siegen is hosting its first Virtual International Day on June 10 and the Research Alumni Programme invites you to participate in an exchange with the Research Alumni Network in a special event.

Insights into the Research Alumni Network: How you can Benefit from Collaboration, Exchange and Networking among International Researchers / 10.45 a.m. - 11.45 a.m. CET

How can exchange between the University of Siegen and abroad be designed and supported and how can they promoted at the University of Siegen? International students, prospective students, young academics and scientists and all members of the university community, as well as alumni, are invited to take part in this Virtual International Day at the University of Siegen to share their views and expericences on the possibilities of international exchange and the available support.

Most of the Virtual International Day events will be held in English. Registration is not necessary.

Insights into the Research Alumni Network:

Our international research alumni will be sharing their experiences on how important it is to pursue an academic career abroad. The Research Alumni Programme invites to our event "Insights into the Research Alumni Network: How you can Benefit from Collaboration, Exchange and Networking among International Researchers" from 10.45 to 11.45 a.m. in Room 2 to participate in the exchange with the Research Alumni Network.

The Research Alumni Programme of the University of Siegen offers an interactive event for all those who are interested in pursuing an international research career. Participants will learn about the Research Alumni Network from four of its members who are conducting research in a variety of fields. They will share their thoughts on how they began, financed, and benefited from their international research collaborations, and will then open the floor for questions and further discussion.
