Notice: Doctoral funding by the Cusanuswerk

The Cusanuswerk offers attractive doctoral scholarships that enable students to focus on a speedy doctorate. In addition to financial and non-material support, the scholarship includes, among other things, a diverse educational program, personal guidance, and a high degree of freedom and flexibility.

(10 October 2023) Talented, committed, and motivated Catholic doctoral students with outstanding dissertation projects as individual doctorates or also in structured programmes (in the integrated framework of which the Cusanuswerk can also support research-oriented postgraduate studies immediately preceding the doctorate) from all disciplines (except medical dissertations within the degree program) can apply for a doctoral scholarship.

The scholarship is currently funded in the amount of up to 1,450 euros per month with the prospect of an increase of up to 1,650 euros in the next two years. The funding is also eminently compatible with family responsibilities, which is why young mothers and fathers in particular are encouraged to apply.
