HYT semester programme published

The House of Young Talents (HYT) offers interesting events on a wide range of topics in the summer semester 2025: In addition to popular classics such as "Projektmanagement für Wissenschaftler*innen", the programme also includes workshops on topics such as self-marketing and “Intros und Extros als Führungskräfte“.

(8 April 2025) The events, most of which are offered in person, are complemented by a number of online courses, including a workshop on designing convincing academic posters or the selection and preparation of images in science as well as the relevant legal framework conditions. In the “Wissenschaftliche Karriere im Fokus” series launched in the winter semester 2024/2025, in which professors from various faculties and subjects at the University of Siegen report on their personal experiences as academics, the focus this semester is on the topic of “Bewerbung und Berufung”. The self-learning course “’I’m out of here!’ – Leaving Academia” deals with career options outside academia, while the workshop “Schreiben ohne Ablenkung: endlich Zeit für meine Diss“ gives doctoral candidates the opportunity to work on their dissertation project together with other doctoral candidates in a motivating environment.
