Welcome to the new Scholarship Recipients of the HYT Young Academy!

The House of Young Talents warmly welcomes - this time from afar - its new scholarship recipients, who took up their scholarships on 1 April.

(30 April 2020) At the beginning of April, the new scholarship recipients of the HYT Young Academy should have been welcomed in the festive frame of the semester reception and the alumnae and alumni should have been given a farewell in the same festive manner. Due to the Corona pandemic the reception could not take place, so that the welcome and farewell is now digital, but just as cordial. The lecture by Prof. Dr. Otfried Gühne (Department of Physics, Faculty IV) on the topic “Veröffentlichen ohne Ergebnisse: Eine Anleitung in Beispielen”, which would have completed the semester celebration, had to be postponed, too.

The time as scholarship recipients hopefully enriched both academically and personally the alumnae and alumni. The House of Young Talents team wishes the former scholarship recipients all the best and continued success.

Besides the financial support, lectures of the mentors on different topics of research at the University of Siegen as well as an interesting exchange among the scholarship recipients await the new scholarship recipients of the HYT Young Academy.

The HYT team wishes the five new PhD scholarship recipients and the ten new Masters scholarship recipients many stimulating discussions, interesting insights and success in the next two years. We are happy to support their career paths.
