Intensive immersion program in the French education system in Lille
BIP Call for application : Programme Intensif d'immersion dans le système éducatif français - Spring 2025
From 12 to 23 May 2025, the Institut national supérieur du professorat et de l´éduction (INSPE) in Lille will hold its intensive immersion program in the French education system, for students studying to become teachers and who wish to experience France while immersing themselves in the French language.
This program is not only free of charge but can additionally be supported by Erasmus+.
Over two weeks, students will attend classes at INSPE of Lille, combining theory and professional practice. School placement will be organized to give them a better understanding of the teaching profession in France.
This program is specifically aimed at students wishing to become French teachers, but it is not limited to this category: all levels of study are covered. You can find more details here.
All courses are taught in French for a maximum immersion, a B1 level is required (B2 recommended).
Interested students can apply online before the end of December by filling in the form here.
In addition to these two weeks, students can also choose to do an internship in a school (primary or secondary), before or after the intensive program.
