How do I make a screenshot?

Instead of (or in addition to) typing out your issue, you may want to consider saving your screen content (e.g. an error in unisono) and upload it via the form. Please be advised that the picture may not exceed 10MB and should be saved as a JPG or PNG file.

Create a screenshot in Windows 10/11

Make sure that the windows with the relevant information is open and in the foreground, showing all relevant information. There should be no other/private information visible.

Method 1: Create a screenshot of the whole screen

  1. Press the combination WINDOWS-BUTTON + PRINT SCREEN
  2. The screenshot is automatically saved in your Pictures / Screenshots folder and can now be attached to the form.

Method 2: Create a screenshot of a selected area

  1. Open the "Snipping Tool":
    Windows 10:
    Search for "Snipping Tool" in the Start Menu by typing it in and open the link to start the program.
    Windows 11:
    Press the combination WINDOWS-BUTTON + SHIFT + S
  2. Drag the mouse to create a frame around the area with the relevant information  you want to save.
  3. The Snipping Tool will show the selected area.
  4. Use the save button to save the screenshot as an image file and attach it to the form.

Create a Screenshot in OS X (Apple)

Make sure that the windows with the relevant information is open and in the foreground, showing all relevant information. There should be no other/private information visible.

  1. Use one of the following keyboard-shortcuts to create a screenshot:
    • CMD + SHIFT + 3 : Saves the entire screen
    • CMD + SHIFT + 4 : Saves a selected area
    • CMD + SHIFT + 4, then SPACE: Saves the currently selected windows
  2. The screenshot is saved on your desktop and can now be attached to the form.
