Register Now for the Summer Break Childcare Program

University employees and students can register their children by May 29 for childcare during the summer break. The childcare team is also currently looking for student helpers.

Members of the university community can register their children for childcare during the summer break at the University of Siegen. From June 27 to July 15, 2022, children between six and 14 years of age will be treated to a busy program on the grounds of the Glückaufschule. This includes a newly purchased pool that the children can put to the test.

University employees and students can register their children up until May 29 for childcare during the summer break. The registration forms can be found here.

Due to the constantly changing circumstances surrounding Corona, we ask for patience and flexibility on the part of all involved. We for our part are working hard to expand our staff to accommodate everyone smoothly.

There are also new partnerships ahead that will provide cool workshops to build artistic and motor skills. We're also still looking for a few good people to join our team: students interested in working with children should submit their application by email to ferienbetreuung.gleichstellung@uni-siegen.de.

During the Easter break, a full contingent of almost 30 children took part in the childcare program under the coordination of Bülent Cengiz. One highlight of the session was the performance of small theater pieces on the last day of the program.
