Internal accreditation
Under accreditation the introduction of study courses as well as the implementation of the review procedure is understood (advancement of study courses). The review offers the possibility to an integrated consideration of study courses and contributes to quality assurance and quality development.
Faculties, university administration and rectorate have agreed the following standard processes:

Within the scope of the initial meeting the process is discussed with the professional representatives. In the following the professional representatives are provided with a time schedule as well as corresponding guidelines. - Existing study courses will be clustered on faculties to a “review” every six years according to the following time schedule:

Due to the re-setting of the study structures of the university of Siegen within the scope of the project “ProBest” which shall lead to a compatible study structure at the university of Siegen currently numerous study course are revised. Consequently the result is that a part of the study courses which are planned for 2020 and 2021, will be preferred for the internal accreditation. Since 2015 the following reviews have been concluded successfully:
