AUSTRIA

univie: summer school – International and European Studies 2026 of the Sommerhochschule of the University of Vienna.

Topic

The European studies courses are held in English and focus on Europe and the European Union. They cover political, economic, and legal transformations, as well as historical and cultural aspects of the multiple transitions the continent is currently undergoing.

The Austrian Arbitration Academy is designed for law students and focuses on international dispute settlement by arbitral tribunals.

FRANCE

Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse (INSA Toulouse): SECOIAS Summer School 2026 – Security and Communication In Aerospace Embedded Systems

The summer school is desgined for Bachelor's of Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical engineering or related fields. It offers different modules such as Embedded Systems for a Nanosatellite Mission, Antenna Design and Fabrication for Aerospace, Secure Wireless Communication & Software-Defined Radio (SDR) and Security Challenges in Aerospace Communication.

Participants earn 5 ECTS credits while developing practical, industry-relevant skills.

The experience also includes a guided visit to Carcassonne (UNESCO World Heritage Site), an industrial visit to Airbus, a research laboratory tour at LAAS-CNRS as well as Cultural activities (French Language) with an international cohort.

Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse (INSA Toulouse): 3rd edition of the MINATO International Summer School on Micro and Nano-fabrication

MINATO offers an exciting, hands-on immersion into the world of micro- nano-electronics and emergent quantum technologies, with over 50% practical sessions in the AIME-INSA clean rooms. Fully taught in English, the program welcomes B.Sc. to PhD students in physics, chemistry, mathematics, electronics, materials science, and related fields who are eager to explore cutting-edge technologies while discovering the vibrant atmosphere of southern France. Participants can build their own experience by choosing 1 or 2 of our 4 exciting thematic tracks:
- Microelectronics – MOS technology: Dive into clean-room processing and fabricate your own microelectronic devices.
- Energy – Micro energy harvesting & storage: Explore innovative micro-energy solutions for tomorrow’s applications.
- Nano-chemistry – Nanoscale chemical sensors: Create and integrate nano-objects for advanced sensing technologies.
- Quantum technologies : ultrasensitive sensors and quantum cryptography (only for 4 weeks option)

Fees Fee is EUR 1,950.00 for 2 weeks or EUR 2,900.00 for 4 weeks (incl. accommodation, lunches, cultural visits, social activities, and visits)
