Multidimensional bioelectric processing: from decomposition to complexity

Le Studium: Multidimensional bioelectric processingSummer School

Venue: Orléans, France
Date: 14 June - 16 June 2023
For bachelor, master, and PhD students in Electrical Engineering, Digital Biomedical and Health Science, Medical Data Science, Computer Science, Nanotechnology and related subjects

From 14 to 16 June 2023, Le Studium Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies, together with the University of Orléans, organises a summer school on the topic "Multidimensional bioelectric processing: from decomposition to complexity". The summer school programme is an integral component of an initiative aimed at exploring cutting-edge digital technologies that can effectively analyse extensive datasets pertaining to human health.

Contents

The summer school focuses on advanced methods for processing bioelectrical data, including signals such as electromyography (EMG), electroencephalography (EEG), and electrocardiography (ECG). The main objective is to provide both basic and advanced skills in multidimensional signal processing based on techniques such as complexity measures, factorial methods, and tensor decompositions.

The programme will feature distinguished plenary speakers:

  • Prof. Ales Holobar, University of Maribor
  • Prof. Anne Humeau-Heurtier, University of Angers
  • Prof. Steeve Zozor, Centre National de Recherche Scientifique CNRS
  • Prof. Karim-Abed-Meraim, Prof. Philippe Ravier, Dr. Olivier Buttelli, all from the University of Orléans

For more information and the programme, please visit the website of the summer school.

Benefits

Summer school participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Accreditation by the network's doctoral schools might be possible

Conditions of participation

Bachelor, master, and PhD students are eligible to participate.

Application
