My experience as a student of Nanotechnologies with no background in environmental fields was that all the lectures were both deeply discussed and easy to understand, as the lecturers managed to keep a very good balance between practical and theoretical studies. As someone who has had previous motivations to learn more about water pollution and energy sources, I was even more motivated to pursue this field in the future and it could not happen so efficiently in such a short time.

As for accommodation, the youth hostel is always a helpful place to build relationships with other attendees and discuss various subject areas and research. However, since there were cheaper options with better services on this trip, I recommend making a small online search before booking similar programmes.

We had a great time with our humorous tour guide who showed us lots of beautiful places in the city and told us some really cool historical stuff. Additionally, we had a treasure hunt where we had to find clues designed by young members of the university's associations. There was a lot of competition and fun. I would definitely recommend it to participate in similar programmes.
