Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme "Organization, Management and Society" at the University of Maribor
Period of stay: 5 September & 23 September 2022 (online), 12 - 17 September 2022 (in person)
I would like to share with you my impressions about being in Slovenia for an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The programme took place two days online and six days in person in the city of Kranj. In Kranj, we had three to four lectures every day. All of them delivered many insights and ideas, so I felt really excited about the topics after the lectures. Some of them were about modern communication, digital marketing, branding, programming in Java, and visualisation in Tableau. Twice, we had organised guided tours (in Kranj and in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia) and afterwards dinner in really good restaurants. Every day, we had paid lunch in student dormitory. After classes, all students were going out together – this is, we say, one of the most important parts – socialising. As the programme was over, I stayed two days longer to travel a bit myself (the programme is really intensive, so I didn’t really have time for seeing the city on my own). Slovenia has wonderful nature, you see snowy mountains everywhere. People are really friendly, and I have a feeling that everyone speaks English!
I really enjoyed this time and I would definitely love to go to another Erasmus+ BIP.
