Awards for young academics

The University of Siegen, the districts of Olpe and Siegen-Wittgenstein, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Dirlmeier Foundation and the DAAD honour graduates for their outstanding work and special commitment.

(6 November 2023) After the premiere as part of the university's anniversary celebrations last year, the award ceremony took place again this year as a large, joint celebration organised by the House of Young Talents. Prof. Dr. Thomas Mannel, Vice-Rector for Research and Young Academics, welcomed the representatives of the six award-giving institutions, the laudators and the award winners with their families and friends in the former FoKos building in Weidenau. Outstanding Bachelor's and Master's theses, dissertations, a habilitation and special social commitment were honoured.
