Overseas Exchange: Program Documents

Students participating in the overseas exchange program have to submit mandatory program documents before as well as after their stay abroad. 

 

Before Departure

(four weeks before departure at the latest)
Letter of Acceptance >


Once you receive the letter of acceptance from your host intitution, sent us a digital copy by email. Do not book a light or accommodation before you have received the document!

Learning Agreement (Before Mobility, page 1)>


The learning agreement documents your study plan at the partner university and the recognition at the University of Siegen. The learning agreement has to be signed by the student and the departmental coordinators abroad and in Siegen. You can submit a digital copy via E-Mail.

During your Stay

(within four weeks after the start of your stay)
Learning Agreement (During Mobility, page 2) >


Changes in your course selection can be documented on page 2 of your learning agreement (During Mobility). Send us a digital copy within four weeks after the start of your semester abroad.

Returning Home

(within four weeks after your stay)
Confirmation of Stay >


Before you return home, ask your host institution to fill in the Confirmation of Stay to document the start and end date of your stay abroad for academic purpose (from orientation program/first lecture/first day of work to last lecture/last exam/last day of work).
You find a template on downloads. Submit a digital copy by email.

Experience Report >


Within 4 weeks after your return you have to submit an experience report. Remember to include the title page. You find a template and notes of guidance on downloads. Submit a digital copy by email.

Transcript of Records (studies only)>


Students who studied abroad must submit a copy of their transcript of records within 4 weeks after their return. Submit the original at your examination office for recognition of study achievements and credit transfer. You find a list of contact persons and websites on Contacts.

 

Documenting Stays Abroad in unisono 

Remember to document your stays abroad in unisono (My Studies/Student Service/Contact Data and Documents). Students enrolled in the School of Economic Disciplines (III) need to document the stay abroad before grades and credits from (partner) institutions can be transfered.
