The Rector

Since December 15, 2023, Prof. Dr. Stefanie Reese Rector of the University of Siegen. The Rector represents the University of Siegen externally and internally. She is responsible for the management as well as for the overall strategic and structural development of the University. The Rector exercises domestic authority and is the chairwoman of the Rectorate and the Senate. The Rector is the supervisor of the academic staff and responsible for appointments.
