The Welcome Center coordinates the nomination of the at-risk doctoral candidates for the DAAD's Hilde Domin Program (additional information
here). The Research Support Office coordinates application by the University of Siegen for at-risk researchers under the aegis of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative, a program of the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung (additional information can be found

The Welcome Center at the University of Siegen is part of the EURAXESS network, which provides general information about
funding and hosting opportunities, including advertisement of postings.
The
Research Service at the University of Siegen offers personalized information, consulting, support, and coaching in all aspects of research-based project applications to all grant programs offered by the federal and state ministries, the EU within its current framework program for research and innovation, the German Research Foundation (DFG), as well as various foundations such as the Alexander
von Humboldt-Stiftung. The office can also arrange for registration with the FIT (Research, International Affairs, and Transfer) email information service.
Export Controls and Foreign Trade Law
International projects are subject to the export control regulations and foreign trade law. The IO can provide general information about risk assessment related to partnerships and on projects involving embargo states. Ours colleagues from Division 1 (Procurement and Customers) can provide detailed information on export controls.
