English for Teaching Staff

New program in summer semester 2024

The Language Center at the University of Siegen is thrilled to announce the second English course for the Teaching Staff at the University of Siegen!

This time we will be offering individual coaching sessions with Mr Ed Shillington.

We will offer 15 coaching sessions via Webex. The sessions will take place at 12pm on Monday and will last for 60 mins. The course will start on April 15th, 2024.

During the session you will have an opportunity to ask questions about the English content in your teaching and testing materials, instructions for students during teaching sessions, conference presentations or posters, practise delivering your lectures and presentations, etc.

Time: 12:00pm-1:00pm on Monday

Course format: digital via Webex

Please note that each participant is currently limited to booking two sessions. However, please feel free to contact us if you require an additional coaching session. We would also appreciate it if you could email us at least 24 hours before your scheduled session if you will not be able to participate. By doing so, we will be able to offer the session to other participants and reschedule your session.

Whilst the coaching sessions are scheduled at 12pm on Monday, it will be possible to reschedule some of the sessions at the participant’s request.
