The degree program
The degree program enables students to get to know a broad range of subject of Media Studies - close to research and practice-oriented. In addition to the subject-aligned training that specifically bundles media knowledge of the different disciplines from a cross-media perspective, students receive application-oriented training that points out perspectives for future professional work already during the degree program. The B.A. in Media Science does not teach specific competences in individual media, but rather interface competences. We can refer to many years of close cooperation with media professionals in different media subdisciplines. Renowned representatives of prestigious media companies such as the WDR and the FAZ have been contributing to practical media teaching with dedication for many years.
We are characterized by many years of experience and offer transparent structures, excellent supervision and contacts with our alumni who work at prestigious media companies.
Can be studied as...
- An advanced major subject (Concept B)
- A major subject (concept C and D)
- A minor subject (concept B and D)
