Termine für Corona-Impfungen verfügbar
Alle BürgerInnen in NRW können ab dem 26. Juni 2021 Termine in Impfzentren buchen. // Vaccination appointments available for all citizens of NRW.
English version below
Liebe Studierende,
Dear students,
Dear colleagues,
The Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs (MAGS) has announced that on Saturday the booking of appointments in vaccination centers will be activated for all citizens of North Rhine-Westphalia.
This means: From Saturday, June 26, 2021, anyone aged 16 and over can make an appointment for a vaccination at a vaccination center in North Rhine-Westphalia. The access to the dates will be activated on Saturday from 8 a.m. This applies to all citizens of North Rhine-Westphalia. This means that the previously applicable prioritization is no longer valid in the vaccination centers.
Appointments can be booked in several ways: online via the homepage of the Westphalia Lippe Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVWL) https://www.corona-kvwl.de/ or via the general website https://www.116117.de, by telephone via the central office telephone number 116 117 or the additional telephone number (0800) 116 117 02 for Westphalia-Lippe and (0800) 116 117 01 for the Rhineland.
The MAGS has already pointed out that due to the limited quantity of the vaccines, not all those who wish to be vaccinated can book a vaccination appointment immediately.
We are pleased that after the prioritized groups and those who can be vaccinated as employees via the AMZ, all students finally receive a vaccination offer. It was comprehensible to first make a vaccination offer to those who, due to previous illnesses or age, had a higher risk of a severe course from a corona infection. It is now high time to give young people, and thus students, the possibility of a vaccination and of a return to normal life.
The commitment of everyone to digitally enable studies, teaching, research and administration in the best possible way has been impressive for months. However, many students only know the university from a distance, even though they have been enrolled for more than one semester. That is why we all want back the university environment that we know and appreciate. This vaccination offer is therefore a big step. We encourage you to take the chance!
Further information on the course of the summer semester and planning for the winter semester will follow in the coming week.
Best regards,
Holger Burckhart (Rector) and Ulf Richter (Chancellor)
