Scholarship Recipients' Council
The scholarship recipients' council is the representation of the scholarship recipients of the HYT Young Academy. It consists of two representatives of the master's student and two representatives of the doctoral researchers, who are elected annually. The members of the scholarship recipients' council meet regularly with the team of the House of Yount Talents and are important contact persons e.g. for the planning of the semester programme of the Young Academy. The scholarship recipients of the Young Academy can contact the members of the council at all times with their concerns (problems, wishes, suggestions).

| Laura Haas
Laura is a 26 years-old scholarship recipient, who has been part of the House of Young Talents since April 2019. She is majoring in Advanced Literature Studies: Literature, Culture and Media with a focus on Modern German Literature Science and minoring in Media Culture in her third master's semester. She is currently participating in cooperative projects of the University of Siegen with the City of Siegen and the Kultur!Büro. In her free time, she loves trying new food, doing sports and going to concerts - but most importantly reading books while enjoying a cup of tea. Within the HYT Scholarship Recipients' Council, Laura is responsible for the sector of Social Media.
| Thi Ngoc Nguyen
Ngoc is a 26 years-old scholarship recipient of the House of Young Talents since the October 2019. She is doing the third semester of her Masters Degree in Economic Policy (MEPS). In addition, she works as a student assistant at the Chair of European Economic Policy at the University of Siegen and is also the vice president of International Students in Siegen (INS). In her spare time, she loves travelling, reading books or enjoying Jazz music. Within the HYT Scholarship Recipients' Council, Ngoc is responsible for the marketing communications.
| Jan van Uden, LL.M
Jan is a 27 years-old scholarship recipient at the House of Young Talents since April 2018. He is currently a PhD-Student and writes his doctoral thesis in German and European Business Law on the topic of Negotiation Science and Contract Law. In addition, Jan is a researcher in the field of Negotiation and Contract Governance at the Chair for Civil Law and Business Law at the University of Siegen and a student ambassador for KPMG AG. In his spare time, he loves riding motorbikes, traveling and sports. Within the HYT Scholarship Recipients' Council, Jan is responsible for the sector of Finances.
| Finja Walsdorff,
M.A. (Doctoral researcher)
Finja Walsdorff studied media science in Siegen (University of Siegen) and Tokyo (Keio University). She is a PhD candidate and scholarship recipient at the House of Young Talents since October 2019. Her PhD thesis focuses on user-generated videogame content. In addition, she works at Siegen’s Institute for Advanced Study (FoKoS) in the field of digital health. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, videogames and traveling. Within the HYT Scholarship Recipients' Council, Finja is responsible for the sector of Management and Organisation.
