The course Healthcare Management Science covers the topics: Introduction to health care operations management, Health care planning and control framework, Data envelopment analysis in hospitals, Case mix planning, Operating room planning and scheduling, Workload management, Nurse rostering, Physician scheduling, Appointment scheduling. Students get familiar with standard models and methods. They are able to model problems and to solve them with appropriate solution algorithms.
