Pole Parametrization for Oscillatory Processes:
Regularized Finite Impulse Response versus Kautz Models
Many technical systems show oscillatory behavior. Kautz models and regularized finite impuls
The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to compare RFIR models with a second-order IRP matrix and Kautz models on oscillatory processes, each with the three parametrizations. The focus is on the accuracy of the estimated impulse response, the robustness of the hyperparameter optimization, and the behavior under a prior that does not exactly match the true process.
